Next week some of Europe’s leading information designers and data visualisation experts will descend on Brussels for a one-day event showcasing projects and applications which visually represent Europe’s data. The event is organised by Visualizing.org in association with the Open Knowledge Foundation and Andrew Vande Moere’s wonderful Infosthetics blog.
Among those presenting are:
- David McCandless – who worked with the Open Knowledge Foundation on some of the original designs for WhereDoesMyMoneyGo.org
- Gregor Aisch – who worked with the Open Knowledge Foundation on the Europe’s Energy project

Dr. Jonathan Gray is Lecturer in Critical Infrastructure Studies at the Department of Digital Humanities, King’s College London, where he is currently writing a book on data worlds. He is also Cofounder of the Public Data Lab; and Research Associate at the Digital Methods Initiative (University of Amsterdam) and the médialab (Sciences Po, Paris).
