In 2026, Open Knowledge is collaborating with governments to prototype an integration with open data portals that enables users to ask natural-language questions and receive responses traceable directly to the underlying datasets.
In this AI Learning Labs initiative, we have integrated a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with public data to ensure that AI-generated answers are accurate, transparent and verifiable.
The time has come to share and showcase the prototype with the community. Join our webinar to see a live demonstration of the MCP framework running on a new dataset, and to find out where our partners’ organisations are heading next based on pilot results.
